Graphics driver crash overclock

 · the legacy drivers do not "under/overclock" unless the BIOS tell it so. once the OS loads, then the GPU driver and assistants (ASUS GPUTweak, MSI AF, EVGA Precision, etc) then modulates the under/overclock. if using the iGPU some UEFI allow underclocking of the iGPU (not all). this is why not many BLK/Strap overclock, gets into more issues. the elders. Since building this rig, I have been getting an intermittent crash in a few different games (football manager, Divinity 2 original sin). Crash looks like: p monitor goes black, p monitor goes green, pc runs as before, no increased fan speeds or anything. Needs a hard reset.  · When a graphics card is performing faster, it may also stress the card more and thus you may not be able to achive as high of an overclock as you may have been able to with previous drivers. Try lowering the amount that you overclock your graphics card.

Games Crashing From Too Much Overclocking Video drivers, for instance, should be up to date, as should the game itself. I got a gtx overclocked with msi afterburner.. well i had no problems with any game but this one each.. lets say 30 minutes? makes my video driver crash.
